Zuidberg specialises in manufacturing frontline systems such as front linkages, PTO systems, front weights and tracks and is suitable for a wide range of tractors. Zuidberg innovative track technology allows the ease of interchange between wheels and tracks. Having tracks on tractors reduces ground pressure thus improving yield. Tracks provide a much higher traction for your harvester or tractor as the contact surface is larger.

Linkage Systems
Lift cylinder
All lift cylinders are provided with a hardened, chrome plated piston rod. Industrial spherical greasable and replaceable bearings are used on both ends of the cylinder. These bearings guarantee a long life without play.
Finishing
All parts of the linkage are de-burred and hot phosphated before being electro-statically sprayed with two component paint.
Ball ends
All Zuidberg’s front linkages have, except for a few models, Walterschield ball hook ends (balls included). This allows safe and reliable mounting and dismounting of implements.
Frontline Systems
Front PTO systems
Zuidberg Front-PTO provides power delivery to the highest technical standards. The PTO features an internal oil immersed multi-plate clutch. Engagement of the clutch is controlled by a proportional and adjustable engagement system. This guarantees a smooth uptake of power to the front mounted implements. When disengaged the PTO is braked but to help connection of machines the PTO output shaft features the ECON connection system. ECON allows the user to manually turn the output shaft through 60 deg when linking up a machine.
For every application and tractor brand are specific Front PTOs available. With various speeds (switchable) ECO PTOs, both left- and right- direction of rotation versions make the delivery complete and extensive. The PTO has its own integrated oil system requiring no external oil supply from the tractor. Fitting times of the PTOs are reduced and reliability is increased with this system. For almost every type of tractor there is a Zuidberg Front PTO available. Zuidberg provide the broadest range of Front PTO’s available. For higher power delivery applications the Zuidberg PTO is supplied with an oil cooler.
The oil cooler allows the gearbox to maintain correct operating temperatures even in extreme operating conditions. The PTO output shaft is braked when disengaged eliminating shaft drag in cold conditions.
Due to the customized design of the Front PTO systems each input drive shaft is designed with service in mind. Using different driveshaft combination replacement of items such as V belts is made easier.

Type Tracks
Various systems are available.
Depending on the weight of your tractor or harvester and what it is used for, you can choose from a variety of track systems. Selfpropelled or towed harvesters and other agricultural vehicles can be fitted with track systems from Zuidberg Tracks. The track systems can also be custom-built.
C-frame

The quality of the soil in which you are sowing, planting or setting therefore remains fully intact, which means that the growth of the crops is unaffected, improving both the quality and the quantity of yields.
Increased traction means increased confidence
Using the track systems increases the towing capacity of your machine, due to the fact that the contact surface on the ground is many times greater than it is with a normal pneumatic tyre. In addition, the self-cleaning ability of the rubber track means that the track does not clog up, so you can be sure you will achieve optimum traction. All four track units provide full traction with the ground, even when negotiating bends.
Easily interchangeable
Fitting and removal are simplicity itself. You can change the standard wheels on a tractor or machine for track units in no time at all, without any major modifications being required to the machine. The original utility value of the tractor or the machine is therefore retained.
Good structure for better crops
The quality of the soil is largely determined by the structure of the ground. The interconnectedness of soil particles is highly important for optimum crop growth. A good structure, for example, drains the water quickly during wet periods; in dry periods the capillary action in turn ensures there is enough water. A well-developed root system is beneficial for the quality and quantity of the crop and product.
Drive system
The Zuidberg track systems have a ‘positive’ drive system. The insides of the track systems are fitted with drive cams, which slot into the recesses in the drive wheel. The cams are used both for driving and steering. This reverse chain drive prevents the drive wheel from slipping. As less force is required to tension the tracks, tensioning systems and the frame can be relatively light. Finally, the rubber drive cams make the system low-noise.
